Development of the Vorocei Riverbed Sector with a Length of 0.30 km in Căinari City, Căușeni District
The project “Development of the Vorocei Riverbed Sector with a Length of 0.30 km in Căinari City, Căușeni District” aims to stabilize and protect the riverbanks, prevent erosion, and create a modern recreational area for the local community.
The works include cleaning the riverbed, constructing gabion retaining walls, reinforcing the riverbed with natural stone, landscaping the green areas, and building pedestrian sidewalks. The project also предусматривает installation of pedestrian guardrails, urban furniture (benches and waste bins), and exterior lighting to ensure safety and comfort during nighttime.
The technical solutions based on gabion structures provide high durability, structural flexibility, and good environmental integration. As a result, the project improves environmental protection, reduces flood and erosion risks, and enhances the quality of life for the residents of Căinari by creating a safe and attractive public space.
